World Cup #2 silver medallist Pavlo Tymoschenko (UKR) was the only athlete that scored a perfect 1200 which moved him up to 8th position, 38 seconds ahead of Lesun, with his devastating run, he is certainly in contention.
The biggest causality of the ride was the winner of the swimming Remigiusz Golis (POL) who went into the ride in 2nd position but struggled and only scored 916 points which dropped him down to 26th position and seems to be out of contention for the gold.
This promises to be one of the closest combined event of all time with the entire field only being 1:42 apart. This means people like Riccardo De Luca (ITA) who is in 18th position 54 seconds behind Lesun, could be on the podium.
