Paul Aust is the President of the German Masters and the organiser of the traditional
Summer Munich Competition. This year the competition was held in PASSAU and we were all very satisfied with this new place and the organising of the competition.
In the competition participated 51 Masters from 8 Nations.
Monika und Norbert Wimmer from TSV Passau, Modern Pentathlon Club made it possible for us to have an excellent competition starting with the riding event at the Witzmannsberg Riding Center, where good horses have been trained for this Masters riding.
Later Friday evening the shooting took place in the cosy cellar under the old Brewery house.
The rest of the competition was where we lived at a newly modernized Youth Hostel with a Sportshall and running track for fencing and running.
The 6th event was carried out with the help from a good kitchen and a jolly good local Bavarian Music band. After the winners ceremony the dancing and drinking went on late that evening.
Excellent for the dancing “event”, that more and more female Masters are joining our sport.
A fair and exciting competition in Passau is over as a trial for the World Masters Championship in Györ 16th – 18th September.
