[ Read more... ]The Hungarian men’s relay team have repeated the performance of the Hungarian women’s team yesterday by becoming Relay World Champions.
[ Read more... ]Russia had had a nightmare ride, especially Aleksander Lesun to drop way down the leader board in the Men’s relay. Russia only managed 920 points and have gone from a gold medal certainty to 7th place ahead of the combined event. [ Read more... ]
The British team of Flack / Cooke / Woodbridge has won the swimming discipline in the men’s relay. The Brits posted a time of 2:43.76 which was 2 seconds faster than the Chinese team represented by Guo / Han / Liu.
Cooke said: "It was a good swim, its a nice change swimming the 100 meters. This puts us back up to 6th place, so we are still in a chance of a medal."
Russia finished 6th which retains their position at the top of the leaders board ahead of China, Hungary and Korea.
Defending World Champions Belarus regain some points on the leaders after a solid swim , finishing 3rd.

[ Read more... ]Not surprisingly the strong Russian team of Moiseev / Frolov / Lesun have won the fencing in the Men’s Relay. The Russians won 50 bouts and only lost 28. Newly crowned World Champion Andrei Moiseev, remarkably lost just 6!
The Hungarian team of Kasza / Marosi / Tibolya sits in 2nd only 3 victories behind Russia with Ukraine represented by Kirpulyanskyy / Tymoshchenko / Mordasov a further 2 behind.
Defending champion Belarus have not had a great start to the day and sit down in 10th position, 16 victories off the pace.
