Remigiusz Golis (POL) has made up for his poor fencing by easily winning the swimming event by over 4 seconds. Egyptian El Geziry again showed his speed in the pool by finishing 2nd ahead of Nick Woodbridge (GBR) and World Champion Adam Marosi (HUN) who gained valuable points after finishing down in the fencing to jump up to 5th. Frolov’s 10th position in the swim was enough to keep him at the top of the leaders board with Aleksander Lesun (RUS) and Andrei Moiseev (RUS) rounding out an all Russian top 3 going into the ride.
