"There has been applause for everyone wherever they are from so the ambience has been good. But when the GB riders go it is amazing."
Hannah Mulhall, from South London, was enjoying her first experience of show jumping. She said: "It's been awesome. When the riders come out you get pockets of the crowd going absolutely wild. The French fans were fabulous. But when the riders start on the course you can hear a pin drop."
18-year-old Megan Wallis, from Lincolnshire, said: "The atmosphere here in Greenwich Park is completely different to other riding events I've been to. Everyone is just so into the action.
"We were worried we wouldn't be able to see but the seating is arranged so perfectly you can see everything wherever you are sitting."
