There Were 3 Nominees for presidency Mr. Mohamed Tony (ex-EFMP President), Mr. Sharif El-Erian (ex-EFMP Vice President) & Mr. Mohamed Abdel wanes, there were also 8 Nominees for board members.
Mr. SHARIF EL-ERIAN was elected as the new president of the EFMP board for the term 2012 – 2016 receiving 60% of the votes, with Mr. Mohamed Abdel wanes receiving 30% and Mr. Mohamed Tony 10% .
As for the five newly elected board members, they were:
- Mr. Bassem Shehata.
- Mr. Hussien Gamal
- Mrs. Shereen Saleh
- Captain. Hani Farouk
- Mr. Usama Kamel
SHARIF EL-ERIAN an ex-Olympian in Modern Pentathlon and ex Egyptian & African champion during the eighties and early nineties, expressed his happiness with the results of the general assembly elections and promised to do his upmost best, with the new board members, in bringing Modern Pentathlon to a much higher level in Egypt, in all aspects (Players, trainers , referees , etc. )
