David Svoboda is a well-known name to everyone in Modern Pentathlon after becoming the Olympic Champion in London earlier this year. Not one to let to let his brother get the better of him, Tomas recently joined the UIPM family by competing in the Biathle World Championships in Dubai.
Tomas, who is in intense training for the Hawaiian Ironman later this year, was not able to repeat the heroics of his brother David, and finished with a bronze medal, but was very happy to join the community in which has made his brother a household name in the Czech Republic.
And who knows, David has always said that if Tomas did Modern Pentathlon, he would be better than him, so we could see Tomas with an eppe & a laser pistol in his hands shortly.
