The Marathon is exactly that --two all-day events designed to give every competitor lots of opportunity for training. This two-day épée event is actually a revival of one of the great épée events in America - annually hosted by USA Pentathlon.
The format is unique. Day one is a great round-robin one-touch Pentathlon style. Day two is pools seeded from the first days results with a tableau with repecharge to the final winner.
Winning the first day was Seth Kelsey and Isabella Isaksen. The second day winners were Andras Horanyi and Margaux Isaksen. Congratulations to all the participants.
USA Pentathlon is proud to revive this grand tradition with Olympians in Pentathlon and Fencing competing for a prize purse of $1000. USAP hopes this competition will continue to grow in prestige and popularity.
