Officials have said, “The press conference will be attended by the competition organisers as well as by representatives of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian Federation of Modern Pentathlon."
110 participants from 20 countries are expected to take part with Austria, England, Belarus, Bulgaria. Hungary, Germany, Greece, Egypt (in the non-competition), Spain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, France, Czech Republic are having signed up to the event.
The competitions will have swimming and combined event (running and shooting) according to the UIPM rules in individual, team and relay classifications among girls and boys. The winners will be awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals.
Belarusian Federation of Modern Pentathlon informs that on the 12th of June, 2013, there will be a press-conference in which competitions organizers, representatives of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, representatives of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Executives of Belarusian Federation of Modern Pentathlon and other officials are planned to take part in.
Present at the event will be: Andris Fieldmanis (Latvia) - Vice President ECMP, Vice President of the NOC of Latvia; Andreus Zadneprovskis (Lithuania) - member of the executive committee of ECMP, vice-president of the Federation of Modern Pentathlon Lithuania, member of the UIPM executive committee; Carlo Passiatore (Italy) - Member of the UIPM Technical Committee, official technical delegate championship; Luca Barachchi (Italy) - UIPM Development Manager; and Sami Awad (Egypt) - chairman of the UIPM coaching committee.
