Since World Cup #1 winner Amelie Caze is out injured, there is a chance for another women to stand up and grab gold. The favorite will be Olympic Champion Lena Schoneborn (GER) who is no stranger to winning World Cup’s as she won 3 last year, however in a very strong field it won’t be easy for her. Donata Rimsaite (RUS) and Leila Gyenesei (HUN) ranked #2 & #4 respectively will be looking to win their first World Cup as theylooked in fantastic form in the qualification rounds, as did Aya Medany (EGY)
Laura Asadauskaite (LTU) will be hoping for a swift return back to the podium after having a year out for the birth of her first child and Margaux Isaksen (USA) will have a point to prove after losing the chance for a dream home medal with a riding error at World Cup #1.
