The Rise of Brazilian Modern Pentathlon

The recent development of Modern Pentathlon of Brazil can be split in three phases. The first stands until the creation of the Brazilian Federation. The second ends with the Pan American Games Rio 2007. And the last one begins with the IOC decision, in 2009, choosing Brazil and, more specifically, the city of Rio de Janeiro as host city of the 2016 Olympic Games.
