Woojin Hwang (KOR) has dropped 100 points in the ride, but will still start 1st in the combined event 9 seconds of Hayato Noguchi (JPN).
Golis out touches Cooke

Remigiusz Golis (POL) has beaten Jamie Cooke (GBR) in one of the all time classic swims at the Men’s World Cup Final. Golis touched in at 1:56.95 which was a matter of milliseconds ahead of Cooke. Nick Woodbridge (GBR) came in 3rd and Amro El Geziry (EGY) 4th. Woo Jin Hwang (KOR) extended his head at the top of the ladder finishing 5th, 4 seconds behind Golis. Hayato Noguchi (JPN) is 2nd, just ahead of the dangerous Russian pair of Aleksander Lesun and Ilia Frolov. Full results can be found here.

El Geziry Finally Makes a Final in Group C

After failing to make finals since 2010, Omar El Geziry (EGY) has made the breakthrough and finished in the top 12 today. Sam Weale (GBR) and Peter Tibolya (HUN) also made up for not making the final at World Cup #1 by qualifying with relative ease. "I cant believe it, I am so happy, for the past 2 years I have started first in the combined event ad then dropped, but today I didn't." He was joined by Zhongrong Cao (CHN), Woojin Hwang (KOR) and Hayato Noguchi (JPN) all looked impressive in making the final, as did the gold and silver medallist from World Cup #1 Ilia Frolov (RUS) and Pavlo Tymoshenko (UKR) Amro El Geziry (EGY) who started 3rd in the combined event had server issues in the final shoot to drop out of contention as did Delf Borrmann (GER).
