Next back is Lena Schoneborn (GER) who again rode magnificently like the majority of the field to start 19 seconds behind the leader. Local favourites Adrienn Toth and Leila Gyenesei are still in medal contention starting 10th and 11th respectively.
This combined event has the potential to be one of the closest in history with the top 15 athletes only having a minute between them. Speedster Anastasiya Prokopenko (BLR) will like her chances for victory starting in 16th position just 1.06 behind the leader which is certainly attainable for her.

Friday, 06 May 2011 20:34Triple World Champion Amelie Caze (FRA) will be looking to make it 2 World Cup victories after 2 starts tomorrow as she starts as clear favourite in the Women’s final at World Cup #3 in Hungary. Caze, who also won World Cup #1 this year, before sitting out World Cup #2 looked in great form during qualification on Thursday. At the lead of the chasing pack will be Olympic Champion Lena Schoneborn (GER), who also looked confortable in qualifying, but has not won an event since the World Cup Final in June last year so the pressure will be starting to mount. For Schoneborn to be victorious she needs to be at the top of her fencing game with the most victories she can munster.
