Margaux Isaksen and Dennis Bowsher win regional Biathlon competition in Colorado

Held at the Olympic training centre in Colorado Springs, this regional Biathle run/swim competition saw some of the USA’s top athletes take part with some notable international stars also making an appearances.

With the distances of continuous 1,500m run, 200m swim and 1,500m run to manage in hot conditions, this was a different kind of challenge. Both male and female athletes competed together to create a rel spectacle.

Dennis Bowsher took first place in the men’s with an impressive time of 14:24. Amro El Geziry of Egypt finished second overall in a time of 15:01, 7 seconds ahead of third place New Zealander Bevan Dobbs.

World No.5 Margaux Isaksen was the best woman on show as she recorded an impressive time of 15:31 with her sister Isabella coming in in silver medal position and Jordan McCrudy coming in third.
