In his welcome speech RFMP Mr Aminov declared that UIPM proclaimed 2012 the year of 100th anniversary of Modern pentathlon. Russia joins it and the celebration of the 100th anniversary will take at all the national and international Modern Pentathlon events held in Russia in 2012.
Andrey Moiseev and Ekaterina Khraskina were awarded as the best athletes of 2011, Andrey Tropin was proclaimed the best coach of 2011, there were other nominations: the journalist of the year, the hope of the year and the region of the year which was Moscow for hosting World Championships in September.
The conference was followed by the party in honor of the anniversary of MP where all the veterans of Modern Pentathlon of Russia were invited.
