World Cup #2 went off with a bang in Sassari Italy with Rimsaite (RUS), Marosi (HUN) and China all picking up gold medals. We look at the success of the Youth Olympic Games in developing athletes through the system as many made their senior debut at World Cup #2. We learn all about the upcoming World Cup #3 and review the Masters event in Prague and the Women’s event in Spiez. Modern Pentathlon is again one of the first sports to sell out at the 2012 London Olympic Games and we look ahead to the 2011 World School Biathlon by reviewing the success of 2011. Finally as usual we follow the events of President Schormann and General Secretary Bouzou.
