Hungary Win's Swim
Tuesday, 07 September 2010 05:09Hungary just won the swimming discipline in the Women’s Relay over a fast finishing French team. This moves them up to 3rd after their 4th position in the fencing behind France and the Russian team who easily lead the event after their strong fencing display combined with their 5th place in the swimming event.
The French team gained one position moving up to second place after the close finish with Hungary. French coach Christian Roudaut does not want to speak to soon about a second Women's Team Gold medal at this year's World Championships.
"Please don't ask me about a medal today, I would not like to say. Fencing was good. Hungary just beat us on the swim, but we are happy. The horses are very important and will make all the difference, but we still have the very long combined event with 6000 metres to run and of course the shooting. Fatigue will definitely be a factor for all the girls today."
