Italian 1,2 Finish in Group C

It was an Italian 1-2 finish in Group C as Auro Franceschini and Riccardo De Luca crossed managed to stay at the head of the field. IAll the big names made it through such as Edvinas Kruncolcas (LTU) David Svoboda (CZE) and Ilia Frolov (RUS) who all showed fantastic form to all finish in the top 5.The biggest causality was silver medalist Sam Weale (GBR) who is still recovering from an injury which kept him out of World Cup #1. It was a happy start to current Junior World Champion Bence Demeter’s senior career as he snuck into 12th position in only his 2nd World Cup.
