Jinhwa Jung (KOR) has blown the swimming field away with a time of 2:01.35 to win the swimming discipline at the Champion of Champions.

Fencing master and World #1 Aleksander Lesun (RUS) has won the fencing at the Men’s Champion of Champions.

A spectacular opening ceremony in the Sicily city centre has set the tone for the 201 Champion of Champions.

After a long gruelling season, where all the athletes has highs and lows the top 18 who have been chosen and they will battle it out in Sicily to become the 2011 Champion of Champions.

The Pentathletes have moved from in front of the camera to behind and are interviewing each other heading into the Champion of Champions in Catania.

The beautiful seaside of Giardini Naxos, Sicily, hosted the Italian stage of 2011 Biathle Circuit. On the picturesque sandy beach that faces the Ancient Greek Amphitheatre of Taormina, a consistent number of athletes of 12 different age groups, gathered in the morning for the start.

It was the very first Champion of Champions competition. The competition was late in the fall of 1979 held in London, England. The rain was relentless and the air was bitter cold. This competition was completely different for all the athletes in that it was held in one day, as opposed to the normal 5 day competition schedule.

The list of athletes to line up to compete for the €50,000 prize money at the 2011 Champion of Champions on 29-30 October 2011 has been confirmed.
