Kim Claims Swim
Jun 5th Jun, 10
Soengjin Kim (KOR) has produced a personal best display to win the swimming event in the World Cup Final in Berlin. Kim swam 2:01.82 which was over a second faster than Andrejus Zadneprovskis (LTU) and Bruno Merle (FRA) in second and third respectively. The fencing winner Aleksander Lesun (RUS) was back in 10th position, however this was good enough to keep his commanding lead at the top of the ladder. Zadneprovskis’s second position in the swimming and his fourth place in the fencing has earned him second position going into the ride.
